Meet Your Doctors
We collaborate with each other to make sure every pet in our care gets the full benefit of our 122 years of experience. We are in constant communication with one another so that we can provide our patients with the most effective treatment and an extraordinary level of care 7 days a week.
Each of us have had pets throughout our lives – and most of our homes look like petting zoos – we understand that your pet is a member of the family and promise to provide them with our very best care.
We like to develop relationships with our patients and their owners so we do our best to keep a routine our clients can depend on. However, we each have families and fur babies of our own and sometimes those have to be put first and one of our colleagues fills in for us. See our personal introductions below for our normal work schedules.
Dr. Kent Armstrong
I live in McCalla with my mom and son. We have two cats, Tux and Hey Cat. We recently lost our German Shepard Maggie after 16 years and are dogless for the first time in 35 years.
I started working at Greensprings Animal Clinic cleaning cages when I was 14 years old for $2.75 an hour. I've taken care of animals and their owners ever since.
I'm blessed in many ways, not the least of which is that I love my job - most of the time :). I am a great believer in the axiom of work hard and play hard. I have season tickets to Auburn football and live to hunt turkey. I deer hunt to maintain what little sanity I have left.
Come see me Wednesdays from 4 - 9 and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well as every other Sunday.

Dr. Amy Wilson
I grew up in Tuscaloosa, so it wasn't easy to convince my parents to send me to Auburn University to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. My dad often jokes that he's only cried a handful of times in his life and writing that first check to AU was most certainly one of them.
Football teams set aside - I graduated from veterinary school in 2003 and have been working at Mcadory Veterinary Clinic ever since.
I absolutely love my job. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their owners. My goal is to make you and your pet my #1 priority.
When I'm not at work I am cleaning up after 3 messy kids, 3 hairy dogs and one cat with endless hairballs. I strive to make life an endless adventure for myself and my family.
Come see me on Monday nights from 6-9, Tuesday's and Friday's 8-12 and 2-4 and every other Saturday. I would love to learn more about your entire family, fur or no fur!! 😃.
